I believe this is the author's first novel. If so, I hope there's many more to follow.Well written and well edited, which is a gift in and of itself.
Fun to watch the relationships unfold. Not just between the two main characters, but the whole crew of them. Some of the computer stuff might be a little over-simplified for ease of reading, but it still had enough believable language to keep it interesting.
Very enjoyable, hard to put down, and a warm ending. All the good things we all look for.

This is fast paced from start to finish the ocean scenery comes to live beautifully more steamy sexual scenes then I was expecting the two female leads are very intense they face danger head on and are very good at putting two and two together makes me want to read more from this author I highly recommend this book
Romantics, computer geeks, adventures..."Counting to Zero" reaches out to all of you. It is packed with action as Pax becomes the female 007 in the computer world while the other characters support and bolster the storyline into a truly enjoyable read. You will want to add this author to your favorites.
Great story. Great characters. This was excellent writing and editing. The story was tight, Great romance - love scenes were plentiful but not unnecessary. I'm hoping there are some sequels.
Paxton James is such a strong character force in this book. The things she has experienced and her brilliant mind. How could anybody that smart, skilled, down to earth and sexy as all get out. I'm not saying her partner in crime, Dr. Emma Thorpe doesn't have the same brilliance and sex appeal, but Pax has lived the life of a ghost running and hiding. It was great to see lots of young people working to save people they don't even know. This was awesome mixing the gray hatters in with the NSA.
The book was a good read, as I simply had to finish it before doing anything else. However, having said that, my only "complaint" is that the development of the love story between Pax and Emma took second place behind the solving of the cyber threat. Very little time was spent on this and I couldn't quite feel the growing affection between the two. Perhaps more time should have been spent on that. A lot of research was given to the whole computer geek thing, which, truthfully bores me somewhat as the most I know about computers, or even care to know, is the knowledge of how to turn the darn things on!!
The story line was okay, with just enough suspense to keep me reading until the end. One thing I found unrealistic and a little irritating was that Paxton James was just too perfect. Young, beautiful, ridiculously intelligent, socialite, kind, forgiving, great in bed... you get the point. My first novel by this author was Rules of Revenge, and it was the same concept, just a different plot. I think I may be done with this author for a little while, at least until her main protagonists become a little more believable.
